Our dogs are bred to be great hunting companions. Purposeful Breeding focuses on a balance of three equally important qualities.

Natural Ability and Independence
Descendants of generations of proven GSP champions, our dogs' DNA instill strong instincts for Point, Honor and Retrieve; with a bold and independent approach to their work.

Trainability and Intelligence
With consistency and repetition of expectations in the field, we select for dogs with the aptitude to become loyal, cooperative, hunting companions.

Health and Conformation
The most basic of requirements. In order to become an outstanding hunting companion our dogs must be able to withstand the physical requirements of the field.

Our dogs live on property nestled in Missouri's heartland. They are hunted extensively throughout Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, Illinois, and Texas on wild quail, pheasants and upland game. The dogs also compete in AKC field trials and hunt tests throughout the midwest.
